*Special Dec 4 Friday afternoon set up time may be allowed for vendors who need additional assistance. Please call market manager if you’d like to make these special arrangements
Location: Vymac/Verlo Building 201 N. Main St Fort Atkinson WI (The Creamery Building) on the corner of Main St & Hwy 106. Please park in the rear behind McDonalds. SET UP Entrance ONLY is through the back side of the main building. The location is on the first floor so you will not have to carry things up stairs. If you need additional assistance, please contact us beforehand. This entrance will be closed at 7:30 to allow for the heat to work in the main vendor space. If you come after 7:30 you’ll have to use the main public entrance off of Main St. via the VyMac elevator.
Bathrooms: There are NO bathrooms located in the immediate vicinity of the vendor area (on the 2nd floor). Vendors and the public are allowed to use the 1st floor bathrooms at Verlo Mattress Factory or can go next door at McDonalds. If you need special assistance please contact the market manager. The market manager will be on hand that day for booth coverage when bathroom trips are needed.
Cost: Daily fee $10.00/$15.00/$20.00 per space (artist/farmer, restaurant, business)
Programming: Music, food vendors, and community organizations will be adding to the market atmosphere.
Sites available: There are at least 50 reserved sites available with the estimated measurement 10’ wide by 10’ long. The space is of ample size with flexibility if your booth does not fit these exact dimensions. Vendor will furnish tables and chairs.
Winter Farmers Market Product Goals: Our goal is to create a welcoming environment with activities that will draw new customers. Our commitment is to the small farmer/producer and local artisan. December 5th is dedicated to providing opportunities for our greater community to SHOP LOCAL for all of their holiday needs.
Approved Items to be sold: Produce (fruits and vegetables), edible grains, nuts and berries, flowers (cut, dried, potted), plants, honey, maple syrup, canned goods (properly labeled and processed in accordance with state standards), homemade bakery, processed frozen poultry and meats, eggs, other ag related products, jewelry, painting, sculpture, woodcraft, quilting, handmade books, textiles, ceramics and other arts & crafts. Market administrator must approve all other products. All prices must be clearly marked in public’s view.
Prohibited Items: Live animals, rummage articles, products that are processed and sold under a brand name other than the vendor’s own.
Application: Vendors must complete and submit an application form and are subject to review at any time.
Clean Up: All refuse MUST be cleaned up and taken away by vendor.
Insurance: Sellers are responsible for their own personal liability and product liability insurance.
Legal Requirements: Sellers are responsible for full compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Violations: Violation of any of the policies and regulations may result in an individual being barred from further participation.
